On Sunday, I went to the National Museum of the American Coverlet in Bedford, PA. I was in Pennsylvania to “help” on a farm and see family, but we happened upon this gem of American history. Some may ask, “Does the National Museum of the American Coverlet really count as a strange landmark? Edgar Allen Poe was strange. Does going to his museum count?” My response is that the requirement is a strange landmark, including museums and statues. However, while Edgar Allen Poe was strange, having a museum to him is not strange. The American Coverlet is not strange (it’s quite practical, I’ve learned), but having a museum to it is. It counts.
Four more to go! Which ones should I go see?
